Beginners salsa classes with Mikey noted as one of the Uk best teachers , guiding you through all the basic steps and technique to enable you to dance with enjoyment. We also have a team of salsa mentors who will always be happy to help you learn and feel comfortable within the venue.
There is no need to come with a partner, but it does help as you may be able to practise together outside of our classes. There is always someone to partner with if you come along on your own, either way we would love to see you each and every Tuesday.
Classes start with a basic warm up and end with a basic cool down and within the classes all the dance moves are explained and demonstrated until everyone is comfortable to move on.
After a few lessons at beginner level and once you are comfortable you can progress to level two and beyond. Your progress will be carefully monitored so you will be able to dance with any partner smoothly and stylishly.
The first class starts at 7.30pm, Intermediates from 8.30pm and then...................
Introducing a new basement salsa club with memories and the feel of past Iconic clubs La Finca, Villa Stefano and Bar Loughborough in the heart of Shoreditch all rolled into one.
Whether you dance on one, two or Cuban we drop it all, we aim to play music that will evoke all the best feelings of the best clubs that started the London scene.
This will hopefully be a home for all the old school salsa dancers who know their music and a place for the newcomers to salsa to experience somewhere different.

DJ Mikey (el Clave) has hosted in the past and DJ at, Players Club, Blue Ice, Charlie Browns, Bar Latina Fridays, Salsa Palladium, Ella's, Que Pasa, Seimpre Salsa, Bar Cuba, Salsa Congresses to name a few clubs for you old timers in salsa. He is also a top flight Cuban Rueda teacher and Cross body teacher and DJ at The Cock Tavern, Hertford Rd, N9 every Monday.
